Meet the CEO (Creativity Execution Officer)/Founder

Josephine Aishatu Medugu is the Creativity Execution Officer and founder of Jaye Crochets&Knits. She had been knitting and crocheting since she was 6years but made it an official hobby as an adult until 2018 when she began to nurse the passion of making it a sustainable business.

Thanks to lockdown 2020 due to COVID-19 and the birth of her daughter who made her passionate about creating warm and durable customized outfits which officially birthed Jaye crochets and knits and heralded its expansion beyond the walls of NIgeria to Portugal.

She is a Creativity expert with proven skills in Social Marketing, Web design, Financial analysis and Human Resources. She is an expert tutor as well. She has a degree in Mass Communication, Masters in Business Administration, a Post Graduate Degree in Education and Masters in Management (in view).

She is widely travelled and a proven yarn afficionado. An active member of several physical and virtual crochet and knitting clubs.
